I don't believe the Bible is Inspired of god - Why do you / don't you?
by cantleave inmany of you may know that i was brought up a witness and stayed in until the age of 42, even reaching the dizzy heights of being a congregation elder.
i was unusual in that, even as a witness i studied to degree level, on a part time basis, sponsored by my employer.
my first was in chemistry and my masters is in business administration.

I'm of the same opinions Canteave, ...now if only that little niggle of prophecy would go away too I'd be a lot happier about it.

Experiments hint that the secrets to longevity are close to being unlocked
by cedars ini take my hat off to jwfacts for recommending an excellent site, namely www.ted.com.
this website is full of visionaries and people with wonderful ideas about the future.
the website is kind of a "youtube" of academics, where scientists and entrepeneurs pitch their visions of the future in brief talks.

Apologies then IP2012: It's just we seem to get a lot of nutters come on here spouting their nonsense and trying to convert us to their fundie cults or other speculations.. I guess we can only expect an upsurge of that this year (2012) with all the hype surrounding it.

Yep unique weapons plus weapon mods. Theres a repair perk to allow you to canibalise weapons for parts for other weapons which is well worth having as well.
Deathclaws are HARDER. You must use AP rounds against armoured enemies. It's GOOD.

:Donutz Vegas is very subtley different from Fallout 3 game, better graphically and 1st person view (iron sights) plus other enhancements. I think it's better overall.
The only negative is the game felt as if it had been rushed to finish it, i.e Fallout 3 was massive and there were things to find and discover EVERYWHERE... Vegas is still big but not so many constant suprises and goodies to find.

How much longer will 1914 be preached??
by OneDayillBeFree inwas in the city today and saw an old factory with the year of its beginning painted on the wall saying "since 1914", and thought "thats a long time ago".. i believe the teaching of 1914 will slowly fade away and be forgotten in about 10-15years, give or take... it's seriously starting to lose its touch.. millions now living will never buy it.... but since it's a hardcore doctrine of jdubbies and the watchtower used to pinpoint the coming of jesus(invisible), the start of the famous "last days", the 144,000 and part of the reason the govering body have their power, they will have to find a damn good explanation and another alternative.
.
or it could just remain unchanged.... .

@EXMS as jwfacts said, the theme was in actual fact BOTH versions... so don't get too excited about that point. They just choose to spin it according to the needs of any article quoting the theme of choice.
The Generation game change has bought them some extra breathing space so they have some time to come up with something else when it grows stale.
Personally I dont think they can ditch 1914 ever as the whole religion and the GB status as Gods channel is tied to it.... come 2035 or thereabouts then I think the religion will implode much like it did in 1916. It will live on, just changed fundamentally.
